Some Common Problems Associated With Paint And Paint Color in Nepal

Most of the problems encountered by the homeowners in Nepal with respect to the painted surface over their walls have a lot to do with the selection of paint and the application technique. The application of cheap paints as colors on the walls in Nepal is rife among the home owners which trigger a gradual degradation of the paint layer over a short span of time.

One of the most prominent issues in painted surfaces is blistering which is formation of bubbles due to loss of adhesion and lifting of the paint layer. Blistering usually occurs over a warm surface on the wall but could also get initiated due to a wet surface on the wall, which normally repels oil-based paints. Blistering completely ruins the idea of homeowners to attain the best wall painting in Nepal. The problem of blistering can be avoided through the proper implementation of primer over the walls after thorough cleaning of the surface of the wall.

Many homeowners in Nepal have been facing the problem of cracks and flaking on the walls especially near nooks of adjoining walls. The primary causes of this issue are the use of single paint layer and the use of low quality paints. In its initial stage, hairline cracks can be witnessed which later will lead to the damage of a large section of the wall or ceiling. The use of crack resistant paints of Nepal is advised for the homeowners to prevent the issues of cracking and flaking.

Picture framing is an effect of non uniform settlement of paint layer which gets created on the wall due to uneven layering by the use of two or more painting instruments on a wall. Picture framing mainly gets created from the use of roller over the surface of the wall around the center, the use of brushes at the corners where it is difficult to use a roller and lack of proper blending of the paint. The concept of the homeowners gets completely devastated once the picture framing gets created after the paint layer dries completely. Picture framing can be resolved through spray painting which creates an even color spread and through multiple layer painting through continuous evaluation and inspection of the painted layers and its result.

Yellowing over light colored walls is another issue which is a very common problem to the homeowners. Yellowing occurs in aging paints and the development of this yellow cast grows strong over the period, especially prominent in white shades. The method of prevention is the use of high quality paints of Nepal which offers long lasting shine and ease in cleaning the surface of the walls.
